Hello! And Welcome to Imagine Child Life Services
As a Certified Child Life Specialist, I use therapeutic play to support the development & psychosocial wellbeing of infants, children & youth. Based out of Milton, Ontario, I provide private home & community based visits throughout Halton, the GTA, and Southwestern Ontario. I also provide virtual support across Canada.
What is Child life?
As a Certified Child Life Specialist, I support children in acquiring healthy coping skills to manage challenging, unexpected, and potentially traumatic life experiences. Through developmentally appropriate play, I provide opportunities for children to gain a sense of mastery over their environent and life expereinces, while supporting their overall developmental needs.

Laura Breau is a Certified Child Life Specialist, Certified Infant Massage Instructor-2®, and Certified AutPlay Provider with over 19 years experience in the field of child development.
Educational Background
Laura holds the following degrees and certificates:
- Master of Arts (Critical Disability Studies), York University
- Bachelor of Arts, Honours, (Sociology and Child & Family Studies), University of Guelph
- Post-Graduate Diploma, Child Life Studies, McMaster University.
- Certificate in Trauma, Wilfred Laurier University, Faculty of Social Work
- Certificate in Children's Grief and Bereavement, SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, The Hinks Dellcrest Centre Gail Appel Institute.
Laura is a trained facilitator of the Kids Have Stress Too!® & Make the Connection® 0-3 parenting programs through Strong Minds Strong Kids, Psychology Canada, as well as a Certified NILMDTS Medical Affiliate.
